New Heating System

Found Casteel on Kudzu. My AC went out several years ago and now I had no heat last week during the snow/ice storm. They came right out for a heat check. My furnace was almost 25 years old and time to replace. The equipment had to be delivered from another location on icy roads. I had heat the next day. Very happy customer and will use again. Originally they told me the heating/air conditioning system would’nt be finished until tomorrow,they worked into overtime to get the job done. Another Happy Casteel Customer

 

Buying a new heat pump was a big investment. I have done my research. Most online reviews you will read will be horror stories about virtually all brands: Lenox, Trane, Carrier, Bryant and Goodman. In the end, I determined that it is more important that the unit is installed by a v e r y knowledgeable and experienced installer. I normally go with smaller contractors but here I determined it would be best to trust a larger company.

Casteel comes highly acclaimed and we decided to give them a chance and the service was indeed flawless. My call was returned promptly and Tom, the sales guy, came by the next day on time explaining all our various options without pressuring is into buying anything we do not need. Casteel only sells Trane, which is on the high end but at least my research showed that Trane is worth it over say a Goodman. The price from Casteel was reasonable compared to other offers and they put us on the schedule within a week.

Mike and Chris the installers came as scheduled and were very polite. They kept our carpet clean, worked fast de-installing my old heat pump and installing the new heat pump and air handler. Before they left they took the time to explain everything to us and cleaned up behind them.

In short, if you are looking for a new heat pump and are willing to pay for a top brand, go with Casteel. You will get perfect service at a fair price for a unit that consumer reports ranks highly.

Finally someone to trust

While away on vacation in the Virgin Islands the house sitter called to tell me that the A/C stopped working. I had heard from my neighbor that they had used Casteel and were happy with the service they received. I called them and they came the same day. Donald the service technician called me to discuss the issues and the repairs while he was there. The capacitor had failed and Donald had one on his truck. I approved the repairs, and was able to pay the technician over the phone. The house sitter was happy and I am sure my 2 dogs appreciated it as well. I trust these guys to return if I need them again. The pricing was reasonable the service was professional. I plan to tell everyone I know in our community.

Excellent work!

“I have used Casteel several times after they were recommended by two of my friends. Over the last few years and they have done an excellent job servicing my home A/C. I had a problem with mywith my furnace and they properly diagnosed the problem the first time. The service personnel have been polite and knowledgeable.

Super Pro’s

I recently had a problem with my AC unit not working right during this heat wave. When I called on Monday afternoon I could of had an appt. on Wednesday but due to prior commitments on my part they came on Thursday. Our Tech Thai was great he diagnosed the problem quickly,did service on both units 1 being in the hot attic, and both needed freon. He was very prompt and polite. Prices were very reasonable for parts and diagnostics and with service plan no charge for freon. Great expierence would call again!

Installed a replacement a/c unit for one that died. Explained everything including what the previous contractor had done to cut corners. Installers treated the house as if it was their own. Polite, neat and extremely thorough, couldn’t have had an easier install.
