Quality work and honest service = Best! The quality of service and work from Casteel is unsurpassed. I’ve not seen a company as focused on providing their customers with fair, honest, quality work as Casteel. I trust them in my home, I know that they’ll tell me the truth and I would recommend them to anyone.
Finally someone to trustWhile away on vacation in the Virgin Islands the house sitter called to tell me that the A/C stopped working. I had heard from my neighbor that they had used Casteel and were happy with the service they received. I called them and they came the same day. Donald the service technician called me to discuss the issues and the repairs while he was there. The capacitor had failed and Donald had one on his truck. I approved the repairs, and was able to pay the technician over the phone. The house sitter was happy and I am sure my 2 dogs appreciated it as well. I trust these guys to return if I need them again. The pricing was reasonable the service was professional. I plan to tell everyone I know in our community.

A recent column in the Washington Post said that Americans rely far too much on air-conditioning. Except for health reasons during severe heat waves, it said, we should open some windows, let kids play outside, get to know the neighbors and enjoy much lower energy bills, all while helping the environment. Could you live without air-conditioning?
JODI NIX, Beavercreek: “No, because I’m a middle-aged woman about to go through menopause, and I’d be grumpy.”
TRACY VOGEL, Bellbrook: “I hate air-conditioning, because I’m always cold. I’d rather have the windows open, even in the heat and humidity, and just turn on fans. As long as air is moving, I’m fine.”
BRANDON NELSON, Beavercreek: “Capital N-O. Mainly because no breeze runs through my apartment, only hot, steaming air. Air-conditioning is the only way I don’t sweat myself to sleep.”
JIM COPPERSMITH, Dayton: “No, I can’t. Once you’ve had it, you’re pretty much spoiled, and it’s hard to go back. And that’s what I do for a living — installing and repairing air-conditioning — so it pays my bills.”
BEN HAWS, Dayton: “I could live without it, but I work with a lot of seniors, and they have to have the air-conditioning for health reasons.”
JOANIE RAUCH, Bellbrook: “I couldn’t live without air-conditioning, but I do try to be a good steward. I can take heat, but not the humidity. When it’s humid, that’s when I turn the air-conditioner on.”

Super Pro’sI recently had a problem with my AC unit not working right during this heat wave. When I called on Monday afternoon I could of had an appt. on Wednesday but due to prior commitments on my part they came on Thursday. Our Tech Thai was great he diagnosed the problem quickly, did service on both units 1 being in the hot attic, and both needed freon. He was very prompt and polite. Prices were very reasonable for parts and diagnostics and with service plan no charge for freon. Great expierence would call again!

Best value aroundInstalled a replacement a/c unit for one that died. Explained everything including what the previous contractor had done to cut corners. Installers treated the house as if it was their own. Polite, neat and extremely thorough, couldn’t have had an easier install.
The best there isFrom estimates, to price, to actual installation, Casteel and Ryan Huprich made it easy and simple. The Trane system is fantastic. Considering the agony of installing/paying for a new A/C and Htg system, it couldn’t be better. Their guarantee and employees reflect their quality. Allen Walters, Roswell, GA.

With a team like this, how can you go wrong?
(Reriani Communications)— Bob Casteel has a lot to be thankful for and shows his appreciation just as those who know him would expect–by giving back to the community that has been so supportive. His entire team has been actively involved in a variety of charities throughout the years and especially in recent months. Last December his company announced Casteel Christmas, the newly minted nonprofit arm of Casteel Heating & Cooling. The organization provides furnace repairs to Cobb and Fulton county residents who can’t afford them.
“There are several strong programs to help low income residents pay utility bills,” says Casteel, founder of Casteel Heating & Cooling. “But we are concerned about people whose furnaces aren’t even working. We’ve been inspired by programs like H.E.A.T and EAP to create change by giving back to our local community.” The program is designed to be the first in an annual campaign involving other community-minded organizations like Cobb EMC, Ironstone Bank, Kudzu.com, Mount Bethel United Methodist, and Marietta Church of God. This first year they were able to aid over 200 families and hope to double that number next year.
In addition to this program,Bob Casteel has spearheaded efforts to help Atlanta residents to qualify for the new tax rebate, saving individual families upwards of $3,400. The rebates make these important home investment purchases affordable for many homeowners who could not otherwise afford to invest. “We provided both Casteel and manufacturer savings, up to $1,900. In fact, last year we won Amana’s ‘Going Green’ award for installing more Amana Ultra High Efficiency units than anyone else. Some of our customers have noted that their monthly energy bills dropped 31%,” adds Casteel.
And while Bob Casteel is committed to keeping homeowners comfortable with efficient units, he is also just as committed to consumer health and well-being, focusing his most recent outreach efforts on educating consumers about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.
“We’ve seen some uncomfortably close calls. So we came up with the Casteel Carbon Monoxide Protection Program. No one needs to die from this deadly gas,” says Casteel. The company recently launched their “Thermo” campaign aimed at keep consumers educated about the silent danger to their families that may be lurking in their homes.

During the past 20 years, Casteel Heating and Cooling has been one of the most respected names in metro Atlanta for heating and air conditioning. Bob Casteel developed this trust and reputation by providing world class service, offering high quality products at affordable prices and backing his work up with exceptional warranties.
Before all the trucks, the employees, and the reputation, Bob and Janis Casteel worked tirelessly to create a customer focused company. In 1987, they started the company with one small red service truck, an office and workshop in the basement of their home, and an advertising budget that included handing out business cards to neighbors. Today, our fleet of trucks and professionally trained NATE Certified technicians are dispatched all over metro Atlanta from our offices in Marietta. This type of growth and success is attributed to the thousands of loyal customers that believe in us. Thank you…
